The course is intended to enable students to get experience as a Sports Coach as well as providing them with the qualifications necessary to pursue a career in coaching and potentially earn money during further education. This qualification allows participants to explore sports promotion, discover personal coaching styles, develop officiating skills, and learn technical and tactical components of a variety of sports whilst also increasing their knowledge of Sports Science. Qualifications obtained will be dependent upon which awards best suit the needs of the students but will included a variety of NVQ Coaching Awards, NGB Coaching Qualifications and generic First Aid Certificates.
