Vehicle Fitting Principles L2 Diploma at Bishop Auckland College

Course description

This Level 2 course includes a full range of routine vehicle fitting procedures and essential knowledge for vehicle fitters working on a wide range of vehicles in all types of garages and fast fit businesses. It is a learning programme that involves students studying both the theory and practical aspects of vehicle fitting.

Course content

Learners also gain a wide knowledge and understanding of health and safety in the workplace, agreeing customer needs and skills associated with working in a garage, inspecting, repairing and replacing vehicle tyres, carrying out light vehicle front wheel alignment, inspecting and replacing light vehicle: clutches, exhaust components, suspension dampers, vehicle batteries and braking systems.
