Sport BTEC at The John Bentley School

Course description

On this practical and popular advanced level course you will study all aspects of sporting performance. You’ll cover in-depth aspects including training and fitness, practical coaching, human anatomy and physiology, and assessing risks in sport. The Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Sport is equivalent to one A Level. However, those students who are hard working and working at or beyond their minimum expectation could transfer to the Diploma worth 2 A Levels.

Entry requirements

You will need to have achieved five GCSEs at Grade C or above, including English and Maths, or equivalent e.g. BTEC Level 2 Extended Certificate to Merit or above.
