Advanced Apprenticeship in Furniture Making at Norfolk Training Services

Course description

The qualification focuses on integral components of a job-role within furniture making and installing for learners who are specialising or who wish manage others. Topics included are such as Quality assuring and co-ordinating furniture placements, planning and managing design work and finishing furniture by modern and traditional polishing.

Course content

Once on programme with NTS, an assessor will be assigned to each learner. The assessor will carry out an induction to the course and pre arrange visits for every 4 to 6 weeks, on these visits the assessor will assess learners carrying out practical tasks that they would complete in their day to day job role, the assessor will also assess knowledge reports that learners have completed and set targets for the next meeting.
