Health & Social Care BTEC Subsidiary Diploma Level 3 at East Berkshire College
This course will enable you to develop knowledge and understanding of a broad range of health and social care services and careers within different settings.
It includes units which explore contemporary health topics, such as equality diversity and rights, public health, diet and nutrition, whilst also extending skills in communication and interpersonal interaction.
It is also possible to spend one day each week in a real work environment.
Five GCSE's at grade C or above including English language or a Level 2 BTEC Diploma at Merit or Distinction grade and Functional English Level 2.
You must demonstrate enthusiasm and a commitment to the courses.
Coursework, assignments, presentations, discussion and practical work
Diploma/Extended Diploma in Health Studies with references demonstrating you high attendance level, grades and commitment to the course.
You could progress to employment in residential care, hospitals, social care environments or career pathways to higher education
