Automotive Maintenance and Repair Diploma Level 3 at Bradford College
If you are thinking of joining the motor industry it is now more important than ever that you have the right qualifications which are based on industry`s requirements.
These Awards provide you with the knowledge and understanding for the Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (Light Vehicles) and will build on the skills and knowledge gained at Level 2.
At the end of one year, you should be fully capable of working in the industry or going on to further training, either full or part-time. The course is based on sound technical craft ability, supported by relevant theoretical studies. Our aim is to enable you to gain essential experience, knowledge and practical skills in vehicle, mechanical and electrical systems.
The areas covered are:
Unit 1: Automotive Vehicle Workshop, Environment Studies
Unit 2: Remove and Refit Components (Light Vehicle)
Unit 3: Fault Diagnosis (Light Vehicle).
GCSE English and Mathematics at a minimum of Grade E or Functional Skills Level 1.
You must be aged 16+ and have successfully completed the Level 2 Automotive Maintenance and Repair Diploma course or equivalent or have suitable experience of work within the motor industry.
You should apply as soon as possible before September of the year in which the course is due to start.
By sitting on-line examinations and by proving competence in a number of practical tasks. For each Unit you successfully complete you will receive a Record of Achievement. When you have successfully completed the Units you will receive the full Certificate.
