ICT at Denefield School

Course description

Topics covered course:

  • Data, information, knowledge and processing
  • Software and hardware components of an information system
  • Characteristics of standard applications software and application areas

    Again, there are two units. The ‘ICT Systems, Applications and Implications’ unit is assessed via written examination; the ICT project is assessed on coursework.

  • Entry requirements

    To study the full range of AS Level subjects you will need to have achieved an average of 46 points from your GCSE qualifications (mostly B grades +) and, a minimum of B grades in science and/or mathematics should you be applying to study these subjects.
