Electrical/Electronic Engineering Level 3 Diploma at City College Coventry

Course description

The course is an A level equivalent course which allows you to develop your skills and knowledge in the field of Electrical/Electronic Engineering. It offers a combination of theory and practice leading to a nationally recognised qualification which can provide a basis for higher level study or for employment in the engineering industry.

Course content

This course is a Study Programme which consists of:

  • Vocational Qualification
  • Work Experience
  • Tutorial
  • Maths*
  • English*

*If you have not already achieved a GCSE pass at grade C or above in English and Maths you will study Maths and/ or English as an integral part of your college programme.

You will require PPE (personal protective equipment) in order to start your course. You’ll need steel toe cap boots and a flame-retardant hi vis top.

Entry requirements

5 GCSEs at Grade C or above including Science, Additional Science (or Physics & Chemistry), English & Maths (preferably taken at Higher Tier).

Relevant Level 2 qualification at Merit Level with GCSE/Level 2 in English & maths.
