Drama & Theatre Studies A-Level at Hereford Cathedral School

Course description

Theatre is at the heart of our culture. It explores the human being – what motivates us, how we feel and respond in different situations. Performance is something we all do in our lives – in our work, in our day to day dealings with people. So if you are interested in how people think, feel, react, respond and why they do – come and study Drama.

Course content

We study plays from a range of periods, and in a variety of genres; we look at the work of influential people in theatre – the theories and ideas about creating Drama; we create our own pieces of performances that show the influence of companies or practitioners who have radically changed the ways we perform and present theatre.

Entry requirements
