Course description

Brief Course Content

You will extend your linguistic skills developed at GCSE through the study of the contemporary culture and society of France and Francophone countries.  Topics in the first year include Media, Popular Culture, Healthy living/lifestyle and Family/Relationships and in the second you will go on to look at Multiculturall Society, the Environment and Contemporary Social issues. 


A Level is widely accepted by Universities for traditional language courses such as French, European Studies and Education, but there are often also language options within Business, Chemistry, Criminology, Media, Politics and many more.

By Negotiation

GCSE French at Grade B or above.
