Course description

Have you always dreamed of working in the fashion industry? Studying for this qualification will give you the stepping stones to a career in this industry. You will have access to specialist facilities and resources to discover different career opportunities and the skills needed to be a fashion designer.

The course will provide you with a broad based approach within art and design with fashion units. You will develop a range of techniques and skills. Based on research and development of ideas you will begin to understand the different subject disciplines.

What you will learn:

At Level 2 you get the opportunity to study on a creative programme that covers a broad range of art and design specialist subjects such as drawing and painting, illustration, graphics, sculpture, photography and print-making, as well as developing an understanding of the work of other artists and designers.

Entry requirements

Entry requirements:

You will need a minimum of 4 GCSEs Grade D or above or the Introductory Diploma in Art and Design, plus a keen interest in Art and Design subjects shown in examples of your own work.
