Course description

This course is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in a rewarding career in the hospitality and catering industry or to prepare you for entrance to higher education. You will build up your repertoire of dishes and techniques and you will have the opportunity to gain additional qualifications to help you in your career, including a food hygiene certificate

Level 3 courses are funded for students aged 16-18. Students aged 19+ may be subject to course fees, dependent on previous qualification. For full course fees please contact course enquires

Future opportunities

To progresses to higher skills and roles with in the sector a good progression route would be to degree level courses at places like University College Birmingham.  However you can obtain employment within commercial or industrial catering units and in other responsible posts within the food service industry.
