Cricket Development Programme (Women) at Huddersfield New College

Course description

In September 2013 Huddersfield New College established a women’s cricket programme, with the aim to offer high quality coaching and performance alongside the individual’s academic programme.

Working in cooperation with partner schools, local clubs and Yorkshire C.C.C the programme is aiming to attract aspiring female cricketers of all abilities into the programme and offer an experience that has underpinned the now highly successful Mens cricket programme. In addition to a high quality coaching programme, individuals will experience competition against other colleges in either 6’s Competition, 20/20 or 50 overs. Alongside the coaching and competition structure, players will have the opportunity to go on away trips to Lords, Loughborough University and Headingley to experience elite coaching and facilities.

If you would like to be considered for the women's cricket programme at Huddersfield New College, please choose this on your application alongside your other course choices. Selection for this programme is by trials, and if you apply you will be invited to trials for your chosen sport.
