AIMS OF THE COURSE:
To develop thinking and writing skills and the ability to communicate in debate and evaluate arguments.

WHY STUDY THIS SUBJECT?
Religious Studies will introduce you to some of the most important thinkers in western history and many of the ideas covered will crop up in a whole range of other subjects. Understanding how to think, debating with others and learning about ideas can be very rewarding and these skills are crucial, not just at university but in many walks of life beyond. Religious Studies can lead to degree courses in Theology, Philosophy and other arts subjects, and to careers in journalism, teaching, medicine, law and politics.
