Course description

If you’re looking to develop practical and technical skills in the music recording process, and get a broader understanding of the music technology industry, then this Level 2 Certificate is perfect for you. You’ll be setting up and operating audio and MIDI, developing your knowledge of the software and equipment used in music technology, and learning all the ins and outs of the process. Much of the focus will be on multi-track recording and sequencing. Throughout the course, you’ll be creating a variety of music using both audio and MIDI. You’ll also learn how performance interacts with music technology and develop your skills in these areas to help you on the path to a successful career in this sector.

If you have successfully completed the Level 1 Introduction to Music Technology, that will be beneficial – but it’s not essential.
