Sport BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma at Shooters Hill Sixth Form College

Course description

A BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma is a practical, work-related course. You learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. As well as learning about employment in the Sports industry you develop the skills you need to start a career.

The BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma is equivalent to three A Levels, which means that when you have completed the course, you can choose whether to get a job straight away or go on to university.

The Diploma prepares students for employment in the Sports / Leisure industry or progression to university.

Entry requirements

You should have a broad education including BTEC First in Sport (Level 2) and / or five GCSEs (graded C or above). In addition, the interest and potential to succeed in achieving the qualification.

Students have the opportunity to participate in trips and visits throughout the year.
