Travel and Tourism Level 3 Diploma at Hartlepool College of Further Education

Course description

There are 12 units on the course. Six units will be completed each year. They aim to provide an overview of the industry for anyone interested in a career in travel and tourism. It provides a range of career options including travel agency, holiday representatives, cabin crew, cruise line and customer service roles.

Entry requirements

5 GCSEs grade A* to C including Maths & English at grade C. A suitable school report or reference.

Assessment

All 12 units are internally assessed through coursework. The exam board will sample units throughout the year.

Future opportunities

Students can progress directly into training in a range of opportunities in the industry. They can also progress into higher education.

Further information

The programme also has a wide range of enrichment activities included, such as cabin crew training, visitor attraction visits and residential opportunities. There are opportunities for work placements in local travel and tourism providers.
