Plastering Level 1 Diploma at Northumberland College

Course description

This course is for anyone who would like an introduction to the career opportunities available in plastering.

Course content

You will study safe working practices in construction, building methods and construction technology, how to prepare background surfaces and plaster materials, apply plaster materials to internal backgrounds and produce components from moulds. Ideal if you would like to develop both the skills and knowledge to become a plasterer.

Entry requirements

You don't need any formal qualifications to join this course but you should have an interest in plastering.


Your progress will be assessed during the course using a combination of written and practical assignments

Future opportunities

After successfully completing the level 1 course you could progress on to the Level 2 Diploma in Plastering
