Course description

Students of Business will have the opportunity to develop their skills in preparation for the world of business. You will investigate the internal departments of business in addition to those external factors that can lead to business success or failure. This 2 year course is equivalent to either one or two A Levels. You will participate in team working activities, discussion, presentations and financial calculations using your developing ICT skills.

The course is mainly assessed through internally and externally assessed coursework, although 25% is assessed through a written exam. Through working with business partners in the community, you will be able to investigate business models of international companies and smaller local businesses.

Business SUPPORT FROM OXFORD UNITED Football is a business which requires us to have people in the organisation who understand accounting, marketing, human resources, management, law, administration, retail and logistics in a sporting context. People with these skill sets are often difficult to find, so Oxford United will help you gain the skills and experience we and other professional sports clubs are looking for. We’ll do this through:

  •  Industry experts delivering guest workshops
  •  Sourcing and pairing mentors both from within our own business but also with our partners
  •  Providing an insight into top level meetings allowing a much more full understanding of how all the elements of business work together
