Course description

A language expands your range of thinking”

You will study Media, Culture, Relationships, Healthy living and lifestyles Study a language at AS level and join the exchange program among other trips throughout the year.

Unit 1: Listening, Reading & Writing 70% of AS, 35% of A-Level. 2 hour written examination

Unit 2: Speaking Test 30% of AS, 15% of A-Level. 35 minutes speaking test (including 20 minutes preparation)

Unit 3: Listening, Reading & Writing 35% of A-Level. 2 hours 30 minutes written examination

Unit 4: Speaking Test 15% of A-Level. 35 minutes speaking test (including 20 minutes preparation)

Entry requirements

Seven grade Cs or above at GCSE level including English and Mathematics. Bs are required for the Sciences, English, Humanities and Languages
