Course description

We all know when we have received good Customer Service and how much good (or bad!) customer service influences our own experience with a particular company or brand. Good customer service skills ensure customers are dealt with in a positive, reliable and pleasant way – whether that’s by offering advice, answering questions or handling complaints.

Course content

The qualification will teach you the skills to provide excellent customer service and how to communicate effectively with all sorts of people. The qualification can be applied to hundreds of job roles across many different sectors including, but not limited to, retail, hospitality, financial services, call centres, sport and leisure. Even if you’re unsure which industry you want to go into, a Customer Service qualification shows potential employers you can demonstrate good communication skills and know how to interact with the public, so it’s a great way to move forward in your career or, if you’re already working, could open the door to that promotion.
