Engineering - Improving Operational Performance Intermediate Apprenticeship at Darlington College

Course description

This Apprenticeship is to provide suitably qualified and motivated technicians with the education, training and expertise to enhance your performance in employment.

On completion of this Apprenticeship you could work as a:

•metal working and machine operative: bending, punching, notching, shearing and cropping sheet metal fabrications

•manufacturing process operator: setting and operating machines during production, planning and setting up the sequence of operations according to drawings, layouts and other instructions.

Entry requirements

You will need 4 GCSEs at grades D-E including GCSE English and maths or an appropriate Level 1 qualification.

Future opportunities

You can progress onto a Level 3 Apprenticeship in a relevant area.
