Religious Studies A-Level at Daventry UTC
The students will complete a four-unit specification which will encourage them to reflect on and develop their own values, opinions and attitudes in the light of their learning. Students will have an opportunity to study aspects of one or more religions, including textual, theological, historical, ethical, phenomenological and philosophical perspectives.
No prior knowledge of Religious Studies is required to start the course.
GCSE Religious Studies develops many useful skills that employers and further education establishments recognise and appreciate, such as the ability to think critically about complex ideas. A study of AQA's GCE Religious Studies specification complements other popular A Levels including Philosophy, Law, History, History of Art, Government and Politics, Sociology and English Literature.
