Course description

Psychology is the study of human behaviour and experience. Psychology is an excellent subject that compliments most other A-level subjects. It is well respected and highly valued by both employers and universities.

Course content

This course will introduce you to the theories and methods of psychology. It offers the opportunity to look at some of the explanations psychologists make to understand humans and their interactions with the world.

5 GCSEs at Grades 9-4

Grade 4 in GCSE English Language.

Future opportunities

An A-level in psychology does not mean you have to become a psychologist.

Psychology will give you a greater understanding of the world you live in and the people in it. Therefore, a vast number of careers will bnefit from you having this qualification. Examples include marketing, management, human resources, health profession, prison service, police force, child development, broadcasting, law profession and obviously any psychology related discipline.
