NCFE Level 2 Diploma for Entry to the Uniformed Services at Hull College Group

Course description

Police? Armed Forces? Fire Service? Paramedic? Prison Service?

This course will allow you to explore the different career options and will start to prepare you as a potential recruit for a variety of different services.

You will improve your physical fitness in preparation for employment and will be able to participate in a range of classroom based and practical activities. You will also have the opportunity to participate in relevant work experience and improve your English and Maths.

Entry requirements

4 GCSEs at grade D, including English Language and Maths or a relevant Level 1 qualification at merit/distinction

Financial information

During the course you will be required to participate in a number of visits and will be required to contribute towards the cost.

Future opportunities

Further study on the L3 Extended Diploma in Public Services or a career in the Police, Armed Forces, Probation, Security, Customs and Excise, Coastguards, Fire and Ambulance Service.

The College is also fortunate to have an active Student Union which hosts an annual ‘Freshers’ Fair’ for students at the beginning of the Autumn term and organises social events throughout the year.
