Course description

Introduction and Structure:

Philosophy and Ethics will tackle issues in the world around us and open your mind to new and exciting ways of thinking! The course will challenge preconceptions and allow you to analyse a range of beliefs and arguments. Philosophy and Ethics invites you to ask questions, to challenge you views and the view of others, to agree, to disagree, think, debate and to enquire. You will need to have an enquiring and alert mind that is eager to explore and challenge ideas. Philosophy begins and ends with individual trying to understand their world and their purpose and place within it.

Entry requirements

Standard entry requirement for entry onto A level programmes of study is 6 GCSE’s at grade C or above. You do not need to have completed a GCSE in Philosophy and Ethics. However, a minimum of a grade C in English is required
