Course content

The Diploma course has a unit of work experience. During this unit you are required to complete 3 placements.

Unit 1- Human Lifespan development (exam)

Unit 2 - Working in health and social care (exam)

Unit 5 - Meeting individual care and support needs

Unit 6 - Work experience in health and social care

Unit 4 - Enquiries into current research in health and social care (external task)

Unit 19 – Nutritional health

Unit 7 - Principles of safe practice in health and social care

Unit 8 - Promoting public health

Entry requirements

Students must have 5 A*- C grades at GCSE level and have a keen interest in health and social care professions.
