Applied General Science Level 3 Vocational Qualification at Hayesfield Girls' School and Mixed Sixth Form

Course description

Why study this subject at Hayesfield?

Applied Science covers the science that we come across in the real world; exploring the knowledge, skills and techniques that many scientists and technicians use every day. In comparison to each of the single science subjects, this course gives breadth rather than depth. It is the only science course that assesses your practical skills and counts these in your final grade.

If you wish to go on to be a more practical or vocational scientist, a technician, a nurse, a sports scientist, a technologist... or anyone whose job skills are improved by a knowledge of science in both an academic and practical context, then this is the course for you!
