Travel & Tourism (FT) Level 3 Extended Diploma at Burton and South Derbyshire College

Course description

This intensive two-year course is suitable for those who wish to work in hotels, airports, events management, cruise operations and visitor attractions. The course has been developed to provide opportunities for learners to progress onto further study in Higher Education at university and gain a nationally recognised qualification to enter employment in the Travel and Tourism sector. You will complete projects based on real-life workplace situations, activities and demands. You will study a range of tourism subjects, including handling air passengers, holiday representatives and the cruise sector. You will also undertake a period of work experience within the tourism industry to enhance your skills and understanding.

Entry requirements

5 GCSEs at grade C or above, including Maths and English or a Level 2 Travel & Tourism qualification.
