AS units include: Tudor England 1485-1547 and Revolution and Dictatorship in Russia 1917-1929. These are assessed by written exam (2 papers, both 1 hour 30 minutes).

A Level units include: Tudor England 1485-1603; Revolution and Dictatorship in Russia 1917-1953; Britain and Ireland 1800-1922. These are assessed by written exam (2 papers, both 2 hours, 30 minutes) and coursework.

B in History or in English Language if History not studied at GCSE
