Preparing to Work in Renewable Energy Engineering NCFE Level 3 at Bishop Burton College

Course description

This course will provide you with an introduction to renewable energy generation and prepare you for work in the rapidly expanding renewable energy engineering sector. You will gain an understanding of the main principles needed to become an engineering technician including mathematics, mechanics, electronics and pneumatics. You will also have the opportunity to specialise in different types of renewable energy generation. The course is internally assessed and includes an externally moderated portfolio of evidence.

  • English and Maths, as required.

Entry requirements

Five GCSEs at grade C or 4 or equivalent, including English and Maths. Life experience will also be taken into account when considering applications from mature students.
