This course develops the skills needed to become a professional carpenter. You’ll develop a wider understanding of the construction industry and explore sustainability and the environmental impact of the construction industry.
Course subjects include:
Analysing technical information, quantities and communication
Erecting complex structural carcassing components
Analysing the construction
industry and built environment You’ll develop practical English and maths skills and take part in GAP work experiences to give you the skills employers are looking for.
Successful completion of the Level 2 diploma in site carpentry, plus interview.
Following successful completion you can start work straight away or progress your studies to a higher technical level.
