AS Spanish is a language-based qualification testing all four language skills - there is no literature. It offers a natural transition from GCSE as many of the topics to be studied will already be familiar to you.

A2 Spanish further develops all four language skills through the study of more advanced topics, most of which will be new to you. You will also have the opportunity to study aspects of Spanish language, culture and society, including Spanish literature and cinema.

The final examination will cover all four language skills - listening, reading, speaking and writing.
