Course description

Course information: • The course aims to provide a structured training programme which will enable candidates to improve their knowledge and understanding of equality and diversity • Delivered via distance learning • Can be completed in as little as 12 weeks • Fully supported by a local FE College • No attendance at college required • Receive a national Level 2 qualification upon completion What does the course involve? • Upon enrolment candidates will receive your own personal course pack • Your pack includes three units, including workbooks and assessments: > Unit 1: Explore Equality and Diversity > Unit 2: Explore Prejudice and Discrimination > Unit 3: Explore People’s Rights and Responsibilities • Complete each Unit assessment in turn • All assessments are marked by a designated tutor • Feedback, advice and guidance is provided by phone and/or e-mail. Course delivery and assessment You will be provided with a series of workbooks which you can work through at your own pace, and at times convenient to you. So there is no need to attend the college to gain the qualification. The workbooks contain the knowledge you require to progress towards achieving the qualification with activities to allow you to practise skills and test your learning. You will work through the learning materials and complete assessment tasks at the end of each unit. Learning activities and assessments are based on a combination of knowledge and skills learned on the programme and work-based activities and experience. On successful completion of the 3 units you will be awarded a certificate.
