AS/A2 Level Religious Studies at Cardinal Griffin Catholic High School - a Science College

Course description

This course will allow students to select two complementary areas of study from the wide range permitted by the Subject Criteria, including Philosophy of Religion, Religious Ethics and a variety of textual and world religions modules. These specifications are designed to enable students to: develop an interest in and enthusiasm for a rigorous study of religion: treat the subject as an academic discipline by developing knowledge and understanding appropriate to a specialist study of religion and use an enquiring, critical and empathetic approach to the study of religion. The AS level is comprised of three units. This course is run in collegion with Cheslyn Sport and Community College.
