Course description

The BTEC National Award in Sport is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge, understanding, practical skills and expertise required for success in current and future employment in the Sport and recreation industries as well as progression to Higher Education.

Units to be studied include: Risk Assessment in Sport, Physiology & Anatomy, Current Issues in Sport and Psychology of Sport.

Entry requirements

A minimum of a Pass from BTEC First Certificate or a Grade C at GCSE Sport & Science
