Motor Vehicle Level 3 Apprenticeship at Harrogate College

Course description

This is a full time course aimed at those who wish to train for a career in the motor vehicle servicing and repair industry. It is an ideal follow on from the IMIAL Level 2 Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair course.

Course content

The course covers both practical and theory skills in motor vehicle maintenance and repair. 50% of the work is based around demonstrations and exercises carried out in the motor vehicle workshop.

This course will focus on developing the knowledge and skills needed to test and diagnose faults in systems and carry out the necessary repairs.

Entry requirements

3 GCSE's or equivalent with good grades in Maths and Science or practical subjects. May also progress from the ///imi Level 2 Certificate.

Financial information

On successful completion of the course you may be able to progress on to a programme of Higher Education
