Travel & Tourism BTEC Level 3 90 Credit/Extended Diploma at Kidderminster College

Course description

You will have the opportunity to gain a specialist work-related qualification which include knowledge of cruises, resort representing and the UK travel and tourism sector.  You will study in a modern, practical way that is relevant to employment. Course content includes:

-Customer service and marketing 
-Business travel operations 
-Events, conferences and exhibitions 
-European and long haul travel 
-Current issues in travel and tourism

Entry requirements

Four GCSEs grades A-C (including English), or a full Level 2 qualification, with a minimum merit grade.

Assessment

Assessed using a portfolio of coursework and practical activities. Maths and English are also included within this course.

Financial information

You will need stationery and a USB stick. You will be required to purchase a uniform for events, e.g. a cabin crew uniform. Part of the course requires participation in trips/activities (costs will be outlined at enrolment, the minimum contribution requested is £150 over the year).
