Law at Newbold Community School
It embraces every aspect of our lives, from crime to the environment, from buying a bus
ticket to resolving international disputes. Studying Law offers you the chance to see how the
law affects you. Here are a few comments from previous students who successfully passed
the course, some going on to read Law at university.

and development of legal principles and is relevant to modern day society."
"A diverse subject which covers a wide variety of topics - homicide being particularly popular
with students. Learning skills are developed by studying cases and applying legal principles.
An emphasis on independent research throughout the course is good preparation for
Grade C in English.
