Food & Beverage Service City & Guilds Diploma Level 3 at Fareham College

Course description

You will be actively involved in the day-to-day running of the restaurant, with significant emphasis on leadership and supervision of staff under the guidance of your lecturers.

The course covers appropriate communication skills, leading a team, supervision of customer service, stock  control and the effective use of resources.

You will gain hands on experience in our commercial restaurant Avenue 141.

You will need to demonstrate the highest professional standards in appearance, behaviour and attitude, and ensure that your staff can deliver the same high standards.

Entry requirements

  • Level 2 Professional Food and Beverage Service or relevant industry experience.

Assessment

You will be assessed via observations, assignments, projects, and professional discussions.

Future opportunities

Study hospitality management at university, or other management qualifications.

Career options could include: restaurant manager, hotel management, conference and banqueting management, front of house, cruise liner restaurant services and more.
