Course description

If you enjoyed Drama at school and have a natural affinity for the stage, our BTEC in Acting could help you to develop your performance acting skills and prepare you a career in the Performing Arts industry. You’ll be tasked with creating and performing to local school children, allowing you to develop skills as wide-ranging as script writing to direction. You’ll also explore a range of acting principles, performing in a variety of different plays and roles throughout the course. Key topics include:

- Principles of acting

- Theatre in education

- Improvisation

Course content

Future Actors studying at HNC benefit from our outstanding facilities, which include two fully operational theatres. You’ll experience life on stage and back stage, and will study under our subject experts to develop your natural acting talents.
