Engineering Technology Level 2 Diploma (QCF) at Hull College Group

Course description

This is a Level 2 qualification which may be used to help gain employment, or as a stepping stone to progress to a higher level course such as our Level 3 90 Credit Diploma in Engineering.

You will study a range of engineering subjects including electrical/electronic and mechanical elements.  There will be a mix of practical and academic, classroom based units.

Entry requirements

4 GCSEs at Garde E including Maths, Science and English.


Assessment is by a combination of assessment of practical work, written assignments and practical logbooks

Future opportunities

  • On completion of the course you could use your new skills to gain related employment.
  • Hull College also offers the BTEC Subsidiary/Extended Diploma in Engineering at Level 3.
