Apprenticeship in Children and Young Peoples Workforce (lvl 2 Certificate) at Wessex Training and Assessment Ltd

Course description

Working within the childcare sector as an assistant you will have duties that are carried out under guidance depending on your employer. You will work as part of a team with different ages of children from 0-8 years or up to 11 in some cases.

Entry requirements

You will need to be 17 or older and although there are no formal entry requirements you will need to demonstrate an interest in working with children

Future opportunities

The apprenticeship offers a practical work-based qualification that gives you a basis to develop further, From an assistant at level 2 to leadership role at level 3, It is a basis for careers in Nursery Management, Special Needs worker to Early Years Degree etc.
