Course description

Level 2 Barbering consists of core units in traditional and current high street trends in barbering. This course gives those wishing to be employed in the barbering industry the ability to achieve a recognised national qualification in Level 2 Barbering The content and criteria of the course consists of theory, practical, functional skills, tutorials, and opportunities for work experience. This course is based at the Bispham campus to experience our new salons with state of the art realistic working environments.

Course content

Assessment

The course is assessed using a variety of methods including observation of practical work in the workplace, written assignments, online test papers and externally set assessments. Students will produce an electronic portfolio of evidence to support the assessments.

Future opportunities

On successful completion of the Level 2 Barbering, progression is the Level 3 Barbering and then into employment or Higher Education.
