Art & Design (with Graphics, Textiles or Photography) BTEC Level 3 at Elthorne Park High School
This is an exciting, creative and challenging course that offers the student a broad range of knowledge and skills in Art & Design processes. You will follow set briefs as well develop your own personal exploration and creativity. It is open to all learners who wish to pursue a creative career.
The qualification offers a focus for learners who wish to follow a programme of creative study that is exciting, challenging and related to an aspect of employment that they wish to move into in the future. Two thirds of the course is art and design; however we can also offer specialist areas of study by introducing textiles or photography modules.

Specific entry requirements:
A good portfolio of work (to be submitted with application) and/or a B grade at GCSE Art.
Students are assessed at the end of a unit.
This is achieved through creative projects, workshop experiences, studio discussion, portfolio presentations and an exhibition.
Upon completion of the course, students can progress to university to study a degree in the many disciplines of Art & Design.
You can also seek employment in the creative fields of advertising, publishing, illustration, graphic design, television, photography, fashion and textiles or fine art.
