Management Advanced Apprenticeship Level 3 at Bishop Auckland College

Course description

This qualification is designed to help learners prepare for the first rung of management. For practising first-line managers, this will further develop their management and leadership skills, build business knowledge and boost career prospects.

Course content

NVQ Component – Work based evidence. One to one support from an assessor. VRQ Component – One to one support will be given by a trained and competent Management assessor. Alternatively, group classroom based sessions may be arranged at your workplace or the college. (Dependent upon relevant numbers). Topics covered: Solving Problems and Making Decisions; Understanding Innovation and Change in an Organisation; Planning Change in the Workplace; Understanding Leadership; Leading and Motivating a Team Effectively. Approximately 6 assignments of between 1500 and 2500 words. Work experience – Must be in a Management job role. Maths and English and ICT- Functional skills will be completed at Level 2 for these 3 components as part of the apprenticeship.

Future opportunities

A highly recognised qualification in Management. Improved knowledge around different aspects of Management.


What can I do when I finish?

Progression internally depending upon achievement attendance and motivation to level 5 Management.
