Mathematics (Further) A-Level at Wymondham High School

Course description

THE FURTHER MATHEMATICS COURSE is considered to be an extension and enhancement of the Mathematics course but is designed to be taught alongside the Mathematics syllabus. Further Maths is a challenging and demanding course which is enjoyed by those students who thrive on the demands and rigour of Maths. The challenging nature and depth of the course is the reason why Further Maths is so highly regarded by universities offering Maths related courses. Interactive whiteboards and laptops are used in class to help visualise the links between algebra, geometry, transformations and graphing within the syllabus

Entry requirements

At least grade A in GCSE Mathematics, although an A* grade is highly recommended for this course.
