Mathematics AS/A level at Highbury Fields School

Course description

A level Mathematics is available to those students wishing to study the subject beyond GCSE. Mathematics is a valuable support for advanced level sciences and subjects such as Geography and Economics. It is fundamental for every aspect of our lives, from work to leisure. It is the universal language that underpins all science, engineering and technology.

Both the AS and A2 Level Mathematics courses build on work covered at GCSE. However, they also involve new ideas that some of the greatest minds of the millennium have produced. A Level Mathematics serves as a useful tool for many other subjects while being a sought-after qualification for the work place and courses in higher education.
