Business and Administration Apprenticeship Level 3 at Stratford-upon-Avon College

Course description

Our Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business and Administration is ideal for individuals who already have knowledge and experience working within an administrative role. This course will help you to play an important role within an organisation, developing your skills and knowledge across a broad range of subjects such as, implementing procedures and systems, analysing and reporting data, supervising administration activities and provide leadership and direction for areas of own responsibility.

Course content

This Apprenticeship Framework consists of the following components:

Diploma: Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Business and Administration

Technical Certificate: Not Applicable

*Functional Skills: Level 2 in Mathematics, Level 2 in English, Level 2 ICT

Other: Level 2 Certificate in Employment, Rights and Responsibilities

*Functional Skills are only applicable to learners who have not already achieved GCSE grade A-C in English and Maths (or equivalent)


To achieve the Diploma element of this course, you will be required to complete a series of units which are then assessed in conjunction with observations in the workplace. This is to ensure you are able to demonstrate practical skills and knowledge in a real setting.  To achieve the Functional Skill components, you will be required to undergo a series of formal tests. All knowledge required to achieve these components will be gained alongside the Diploma. Testing will commence at College and you may be required to attend sessions at College.

Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship in Team Leading or Level 4 Management.
