Barbering Certificate - Level 2 at Crawley College

Course description

This study programme is ideal for students that would like to learn basic Barbering skills.

The core units covered are:

  • Follow Health & Safety practice in the salon
  • Client consultation for hair service
  • Cut facial hair
  • Cut men's hair

Entry requirements

This course is suitable for adults over the age of 19, progressing from City and Guilds Level 2 Hairdressing, those with other Level 2 qualifications in Hairdressing or those that are new to the industry due to a change in career.

Assessment

The units are assessed through practical sessions, paper based tests and oral questioning. You are required to provide you r own clients fro your practical assessments.

Future opportunities

Upon successful completion of this study programme, you will be able to work in a commercial unisex salon or barbers cutting men's hair
